[Drag Chain Cables] Basic Description

Kemeng drag chain cables are suitable for installation under continuous reciprocating motion, especially in environments with frequent bending in industrial applications, such as in the drag chains of modern mechanical standard components, logistics systems, control systems, and mechanical automation systems. They are ideal for high-frequency bending applications in indoor and outdoor environments, including CNC machine tools, electronic equipment, metal stamping, wood and stone machinery, glass and door/window machinery, injection molding machines, mechanical (robotic) arms, construction machinery, heavy machinery factories, automotive manufacturing, lifting and transport equipment, automated warehouses, docks, fire trucks, etc., particularly where consistent and stable signal transmission and monitoring are required.

[Drag Chain Cables] Installation Requirements

Drag chain cables TRVV, produced by Jiangsu manufacturers, require attention to the following points during installation of high-flexibility drag chain cables:
(1) It is recommended to install high-flexibility drag chain cables separately and side by side. For cables of different diameters installed in layers or side by side, separators are recommended.
(2) High-flexibility drag chain cables with an outer diameter greater than 0.394 inches (10mm) should not use separators. Instead, they should be loosely placed in a conduit before being inserted into the drag chain. The conduit's cross-section must be significantly larger than the sum of all cable cross-sections.
(3) High-flexibility drag chain cables TRVV must move freely in separators. For safety, there must be a 10% free space between the cable diameter and the drag chain's internal dimensions.
(4) Note: High-flexibility drag chain cables must not be under stress when passing through drag chains and bends. If there are multiple layers, corresponding gaps must be provided before the bend for the TRVV cables.
(5) Important: Cables in the drag chain must not be twisted. Therefore, cables should be unwound from the reel before installation.
(6) Weight distribution in the drag chain or connection points should be symmetrical. Heavier cables should be placed toward the outside of the drag chain, while smaller high-flexibility cables should be placed in the center.
(7) All fixed points and pulling equipment for high-flexibility drag chain cables TRVV must be equipped with clamps to eliminate tensile load. Clamps should only grip the outer sheath over a large area to avoid squeezing the cores and prevent cable displacement.
(8) Only high-flexibility drag chain cables should be used, strictly adhering to the allowable bending radius specified by our factory.
(9) If the drag chain is damaged, the cable should also be replaced, as the high-flexibility drag chain cable is also subjected to stretching.
(10) When installing high-flexibility drag chain cables TRVV or other cables for mobile applications, internal stress should be fully relieved (if present), such as by free hanging for several days.
